Healthwatch Area Leads

Full-time | £25,000 per annum | Home-based

Healthwatch is an independent organisation that has been giving people a voice to improve, shape and get the best from health and social care since 2013. We are expanding our service - and need four proactive leads to run each area, Bristol, North Somerset and South Glos. As the area lead you will be responsible for delivering and leading Heathawatch activities in your area. You will be a problem-solver and self-starter, ready to work with your Healthwatch peers, agencies and volunteers. In return we offer you fun and flexible working and the chance to help make patients' voices heard to improve NHS and social care services. Deadline 8am Monday October 21st 2019.

 

Part-time Volunteer Co-ordinator

10 hours | £25,000 per annum pro rata | Nailsea or home-based

Lead the Healthwatch volunteering programme across 3 areas – Bristol, North Somerset, South Gloucestershire. The post-holder will work in parallel with the Area Leads to engage, recruit, train, and support volunteers for a variety of roles. The Volunteer Co-ordinator will develop, implement and evaluate a volunteer programme that attracts a wide range of people to become involved in Healthwatch activities and provide a strong voice on health and social care. Deadline 8am Monday October 21st 2019.
