Free stop smoking support for Bristol residents

Quitting smoking can be difficult. Everyone Health has partnered with Bristol City Council to offer free support for local people who are most at risk from the consequences of smoking.

Pregnant women, their partners and family members, individuals with long-term conditions that are made worst by smoking, smokers identified through NHS Health Checks, and individuals with severe mental illness (a referral is required from a mental health team) are all eligible for the service.

You will be assigned a stop smoking practitioner who will work with you and give you all the advice and guidance needed, plus a tailored plan to help you quit. Free Nicotine Replacement Therapy (NRT) is provided if needed, and support is provided via a mix of telephone appointments and online clinics.

To refer yourself to the service, click here to visit the Everyone Health website and fill in a short online form. A specialist stop smoking advisor will call you back. You can also call 0333 055 0095 or text QUIT to 60777.
