Members of the Bristol Black and Minority Ethnic Community (BAME) came together on Saturday 26 May 2018 for a day of learning about prostate cancer.

Local charity Carers Support Centre has produced some short films in different community languages to encourage minority ethnic carers to seek support.

We are delighted to bring you our latest report from July -September 2018. We met with North Bristol NHS Trust, MacMillan, Cancer Research UK, Bristol Black Carers to organise a joint Breast Health Awareness Day.

The Care Forum was recruited in 2018 to talk confidentially with women who did not stop smoking during pregnancy in Bristol and North Somerset. We asked why they didn’t stop smoking, and asked them how support could work better in future.
